Anthony Trimino Wins Pat Nixon Republican Women Federated Governor Forum
YORBA LINDA, CA – On Thursday, July 15, Anthony Trimino was a featured candidate at the Pat Nixon Republican Women Federated Governor Forum.
Anthony shared his story, vision, and platform with over 500 forum attendees. After the debate-style forum, a mock election was held and attendees voted Anthony Trimino as the winner in a landslide.
Eight gubernatorial candidates gathered to discuss the state’s most pressing issues and the need to remove Gov. Gavin Newsom from office. The candidates included Anthony Trimino, Diego Martinez, Doug Ose, Jenny Rae Le Roux, Kevin Kiley, Rhonda Furin, Sarah Stephens, Steve Lodge, and Timothy Herode.
The forum lasted for two hours and each candidate was allowed a one-minute block to answer questions posed by the moderator. Topics of discussion included housing and homelessness, state response to COVID-19, the recall election, education, wildfires, and much more.
“We live in unprecedented times. We need unprecedented solutions,” Trimino said during his closing statement. His message resonated with forum attendees, as they elected Anthony as the winner of the mock election after the debate in “quite a landslide,” according to the forum moderator.
The governor forum was hosted in Yorba Linda, California by the Pat Nixon Republican Women Federated.
